Head of World Languages

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Spanish and/or French to lead our Languages Department.

All students across the school follow a language learning programme from Nursery and are encouraged to take a language at IGCSE level.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the school and ideally to have previous experience of teaching IGCSE and/or A Level.

The ability to contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips or other activities will also be an advantage.

Physical Education Teacher

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our successful PE Department.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with a range of ages and be capable of creating dynamic, inclusive lessons that develop fundamental movement skills through a range of activities, with the goal of fostering lasting fitness habits for the students.

Experience working with older students or delivering IGCSE PE and familiarity of the IB program would be an advantage.

Sport is already an important and valued aspect of the school and we are excited to welcome a colleague who will help make it an even stronger feature of a BIS-NY education.

World Languages Teacher

In World Languages we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed French &/or Spanish teacher to contribute to our Languages Department. The ability to offer a second language (preferably Spanish or French) would also be highly desirable. All students across the school follow a language learning programme from Nursery to IGCSE level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the school which could include classes in the Primary Years.

For individuals eager to expand their expertise to Primary classes, we offer comprehensive training and professional development. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in teaching IGCSE and A Level or similar level courses.

All teachers are also encouraged to contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips or other activities.
