Exam Preparation

At BIS-NY we take the process of preparing students for external examinations very seriously. We have a library of past exam papers which enables our pupils to practice the correct techniques for answering questions and get a sense for the tone in which questions are asked and expected to be answered. From the Autumn term of Year 6, students have the opportunity to attend formalized class workshops to prepare them for writing timed essays and test taking strategies.  Individual preparation after school is offered for students taking entrance tests, including Common Entrance and the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).
