Caroline Carter
Teacher
Mrs. Carter received her B.Ed. Hons degree in Primary Teaching from the College of St. Paul & St. Mary in the UK and has been teaching across the primary agree range for 25 years.
Caroline has moved around the UK and taught for a number of local authorities including Gloucestershire, The Wirral, London Borough of Bexley and Cheshire. She spent 4 years living in The Netherlands, when her husband’s job took them there, and taught at the British School near The Hague.
On returning to the UK she taught in Cheshire and held a number of curriculum coordinator positions including Physical Education, Religious Education, Music and SENCO as well as for a period as the teacher representative on the school governing body. During her last 2 years in the UK Caroline was responsible for running the school’s unit for children with moderate learning difficulties and was involved in many extra-curricular activities including school choir and orchestra, netball and rounders clubs.
Mrs. Carter moved to the US in 2003 and taught Pre-K children in a private school in New Jersey for 4 years.
Caroline has a number of interests outside work – she is an active member of her town’s Woman’s Club, keeps fit,travels, reads and has a passion for interior design.
