Swiss born and educated, Brigitte Gloor brings academic, professional and practical experience to language studies.

She received her B.A. in Education at the Lehrerseminar Solothurn, Switzerland and continued her education at the Institut Catholique in Paris, receiving a certificate in Advanced French Studies in 1975. Ms. Gloor taught and coordinated third year elementary school curriculum which included  French, German and Instrumental Music among other academic subjects for Swiss national certification and was a regional judge in piano and flute competition for elementary school children.
Ms. Gloor brings practical language skills as a Berlitz certified instructor and as a translator of legal and medical research documents for a New York law firm. She has been a private tutor for both adults and children for many years.

Outside interests include world travel, skiing ( Swiss certified ski instructor ) painting,  Spanish Language and different cultures.
