Anne Kalb
French Teacher
Mrs. Kalb our native French teacher was born and raised in St.Etienne in France. She studied at the Lycée Claude Fauriel and obtained a “Baccalauréat” specializing in Maths and Physics. She was admitted into “Prépa.H.E.C” but decided instead to move to Dijon where she studied at the University of Pharmacy. Back at her hometown she graduated as an assistant pharmacist and in addition was a tutor in Maths, French, English and Latin. Her love for art and acting pushed her to study art history at the Modern Art Museum and theatre at the “Théâtre Jean Dasté” of St.Etienne.
For the last few years in New York, after completing an intense language teacher training course, Mrs. Kalb has worked in several language schools teaching her native French to both adults and children from a variety of backgrounds. It’s with a lot of pleasure that she is sharing and passing on her passionate love for her country, culture and language.
“Alors, enfants de BISNY, en route pour la France!”
