A classically-trained singer, Mrs. Yelizarova holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Music degree from New Jersey City University. She was very fortunate to study with such famous opera singers as Mignon Dunn, Ashley Putnam, and Claudia Catania. Before studying in the United States, Anna Yelizarova got her first Bachelors degree in Choir Conducting in Moscow, Russia.

After finishing her studies, Mrs. Yelizarova has been heard in many concert performances in the United States and Europe, including an evening of opera scenes at Carnegie Hall. Anna Yelizarova has appeared in a variety of more than 20 opera roles, including Carmen. She has sung with such companies as Natchez Music Festival (MS), Center City Opera (PA), Bay Area Summer Opera (CA), Martina Arroyo Foundation (NY), Opera Company of Brooklyn (NY), Opera Manhattan (NY), Long Island Opera (NY), New York Lyric Opera Theater, Queens Opera (NJ), Intermezzo Opera Festival (FL), Amici Opera (PA), and New York Opera Studio.

Mrs. Yelizarova has an extensive experience of teaching children of different ages. She worked with several professional children’s choirs in Russia and also taught Music in a Moscow’s private school. For the last several years, she maintains a private teaching studio for children and adults.

Originally from Moscow, Russia, Anna Yelizarova is an American citizen and now lives in New Jersey. She is very excited about being a part of the British International School and sharing her music knowledge and experience with kids.
