The British International School of New York is an outstanding primary school that opened in September 2006, at a fully refurbished campus at 20 Waterside Plaza, just off East 23rd Street in Manhattan.

The school provides an excellent educational foundation for children from the ages of 3 to 14 years, integrating the widely acclaimed International Baccalaureate model with the best of the British curriculum.

Part-time lunch & recess supervisors needed

The British International School of New York seeks a caring, energetic person to work with a range of children of different ages (3 – 14) in a supervisory capacity.

Primarily responsible for student welfare in the lunch room and playground.

The ability to manage groups of children, using positive reinforcement of good behavior, and to nurture conflict resolution strategies is desirable.

Basic first aid training or willingness to participate in training required. Experience with children and a background check necessary.

Schedule:   4 hours per day, Mon through Fri, 10:00am – 2:00pm

Pay rate:  $15/hour, less applicable deductions and tax withholdings
